Funding

Our research is supported from the European Research Council (ERC), from Chalmers-internal sources (Areas of Advance) and from Swedish national funding agencies and private foundations, such as the Swedish Research Council (VR), the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF), the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research (MISTRA), and the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW).

Christoph holds a Future Research Leader grant funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF). The project entitled “Nanoplasmonic Sensing’s Holy Grail” is focused on developing nanofluidics-based approaches for single molecule detection. Read more here.

Christoph holds and is the PI of a KAW Academy Fellowship grant on the topic of “Plasmonic Hybrid Materials”, financed by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. We are Insplorion AB‘s partner for a 2.5 year Mistra Innovation project with the aim to develop a fully integrated portable nanoplasmonic air quality sensor.
