Irem Tanyeli, Ph.D.

My research interest is nanoplasmonic metal oxide hybrid material based gas sensing, particularly with a focus on urban air quality and thus detection of hazardous gas molecules such as NOx, CO and SO2. The research activities are based on developing and testing different nanostructured metal oxide sensing materials and their integration with a nanoplasmonic sensor platform. Together with the project team at Insplorion AB, we will integrate the developed sensing platform in a multiplexed and portable device.
