Puvaneswari Teluchina-Appadu, M.Sc.

Summary

I am a PhD student working on nanoparticle catalysis, using nanofluidic channels combined with microscopic/spectroscopic techniques. I find nanomaterials to be fascinating entities, given their distinct properties: geometrical, optical, plasmonic, catalytic etc. My goal is to understand how reactions are catalysed at the single nanoparticle level, the different parameters that affect them and why. This research project is highly interdisciplinary and bold, which makes it super interesting. My background is in chemistry, with a specialty in physical chemistry, nanoscience and energy. I have previously worked at ITODYS and LEM laboratories in France, on research projects built on electrochemistry and materials science. I am thrilled to be part of the team and to discover more science together.
