Sara Nilsson, Ph.D.

Summary

In general, my research concerns detecting gases or reactions with gases by plasmonic nanoparticles. The research project I am currently working on, is about multiplexing materials for improving H2 safety sensors in terms of cross sensitivity to other gases, water or temperature change. Previously, I have studied reactions and oxidation on single Cu nanoparticles by plasmonic scattering nanoimaging and spectroscopy.
