Sushree Dash, Ph.D.
Summary
I am currently working on advanced fabrication techniques, including micro-shutter deposition (for creating differential alloys on the same substrate) using e-PVD and HCL (for single-alloy systems). My focus is on characterizing PdCuPt alloys for hydrogen gas sensing under contamination conditions such as NOx, CO, and humidity. I study material properties through hydrogen characterization methods like isotherms and kinetics across various temperatures. I hold a Ph.D. in magneto-optics, with experience in surface-enhanced Faraday rotation in Bi-YIG materials. I have experience in surface vs bulk characterization techniques like TEY/TFY XAS, XPS, UV-Vis, TOF-SIMS and theoretical DFT slab simulations using VASP.
